Support Group Meetings

Our Support Group Meetings are open to patients of any surgeon, who've had any operation. There is no medical advice given at the Support Group Meetings, but there are for designed to allow the patients to interact, to have speakers on subjects of interest, and to provide resources and contacts for patients.

Please Note: A Change In The Cobb Support Group Schedule!

The Bariatric Support Group that usually meets at WellStar Cobb Hospital on the 2nd Saturday of each month will NOT meet at that location in April and September of 2008!
On April 12th, 2008, there will be the 4th Annual Blake Gammill Walk in Douglasville, GA. If you would like to register for this walk, please go to: Active.com and type in: Walk For Blake Gammill.

September 13, 2008 the Bariatric Support Group will be at the Walk From Obesity Event in Douglasville, GA.

3rd THURSDAY of each month at Windy Hill 6:30pm – 8:30pm Marietta, GA 30060 Wellstar Development Center Near Windy Hill Hospital 2000 South Park Place Marietta, GA 30067

Directions to this site: Off I-75, Take Windy Hill Road Exit, Go West, then turn North (right) at the traffic light opposite Windy Hill Hospital (South Park Drive), the WellStar Development Center Building is on the Left, at 2000 South Park Place. Go in the Front Entrance, turn right down hall, and look for the Chattooga Room.
